Ques) Does ur monitor go blank..with CPU still 'ON' or there is some message on the blue screen?
Ans) I've encountered this problem a good many times and asked number of people regarding this issue.Sometimes i had to format my P.C. or clean up the RAM and try changing the RAM slot numerous times,i even tried removing the CMOS battery several times but this all was of little help.
The actual solution is to clean up the heat sink and remove any sort of dust in between the processor and the cooling fan,also check if the coolant above the processor has dried up,try get a new one..it cost 50 bucks.All you need to do is put it in between the sink and the processor.
This might not be the solution to all the problems of this kind ...but other people i consulted, those having the similar problem,this method worked perfectly for them
and for me too!!
