Great Indian Tamasha
this show "Lead India " this week saw the exit of "leader" Sanjiv kaura the most eligible person..out of FEW who cared to care for the society........
and this was not the first time it has happened.........each of these pathetic shows(callled reality)
throws the most eligible candidate out of the contest and the winner anounced is generally the peson who was underdog in most the prev episodes.
ANd the ultimate CRAP THEY VOMIT,is that once a series is started on one channel another channel comes up with the same typo competition in week's time.........and series of events are copied too.........particularly in Music shows.....horrible,disgusting........
and and and where do these WINNERs land up........nowhere but sucking somewhere doing some/same lame work..........
Suggestion:: Don't watch these INDIAN reality shows.............better workout during that time....
...................Disgusting,i say :X
My Mentor --- Mr. Ravi Gopinath
I have just started reading the book “Surely you are joking Mr. Feynman” and I was reminded of this guy(since he used to quote a lot of examples from life of "Sir" Feynman) who was my mentor for chemistry during my preparation for JEE, Mr. Ravi Gopinath . he is one of the few people I admire and have personally met..
(Sometimes I wonder why we don’t admire, care people when they close to you or you are in contact with them and when they are memories or the contact is lost people keep wondering those days and lamenting and longing to meet again…….this all is nowhere fitting with what I’m going to write further, yet I miss the company of the genius and my mentor)
In the following text I’ll be trying to bring out the best I could remember of my teaching days with this philosopher, scientist, teacher , T.V. person….multifaceted human character and that is why I admire him the most…jack of all trade and master of'em too!!!!!
He used to take our tuition classes at his mother-in-law’s flat!!!!!!! This might sound bizarre but this is how it is…..and this is just the beginning..this person was real cool. Our classes used to take place around a dining table with 6-8 people surrounding "their" sir while the next batch waited silently in the drawing room at aunty’s place (sir’s mum in law). Classes were fun, in our batch,we were initially 8,out of which 5 had completed schooling, including me and 3 were still in school, 12th grade, although 2 people later left thinking sir’s theory and his way of teaching was not even worth a crap, I was on similar thinking lane but continued clinging to his lectures to get more of “crap”.
Sir was real fan of cricket and it's masters the Gavaskar, the Tendulkar , the Sarfaraz Nawaz, theWarne and some other legendaries. I should have mentioned this before, it was during my first encounter with him,I realized the fact that sir is cricketing fan, he used examples of legends quite frequently.
I first met him on my birthday, to get enrolled for his classes and there came the lecture and long one in which he tried to explain me that IIT was not my piece of cake if I haven’t done the job of being crystal clear with concepts of chemistry or any other subject for that matter, during my school days. The example he gave was.."you might be the master at your street level cricket or even at step higher level but you cant outplay Mr. Warney buddy!!!! You’ll get out on the very first ball………" in this example the player was me and JEE played role of Mr. Warne. After chopping off my hopes on my birthday and looking at my dull grown face he said my idea was not to discourage you but to make you aware of the reality, if you are still interested, you are most welcome.
So I joined his “tuition center” which neva existed….the very first lecture was on basic chemistry and he emphasized on removing "the crap" ,the INDIAN AUTHORS have filled our minds with. He asked everyone which book they referred, out came the popular Indian publishers the pradeep, the ABC, comprehensives and many other crap, and he smiled after every publisher’s name(INDIAN) was called…the smile was telling “ fella!! I was looking for this answer..now i’ve something to nail you down..ha ha ha”..So that was our first class.
His lecture on atomic theory was the one that exhibited his talent in giving lectures.. chapter which everybody thinks to be simple enough to learn just by flip of page, this person made it look simply damn difficult!!!!! The example he used was “think of yourself being blindfolded and trying to poke a football hanging via rope in a dark room” and then something else(while explaining Heisenberg uncertainty principle)..which every one thought that they got his point ….but then came the limitation which I fail to remember but everybody was mesmerized and we all looked at each other as if we've witnessed some brilliant magic show….his examples were awesome and I cant tell the joy I’m feeling by reliving those moments through this writing.
He later showed book that he wrote in 1992 on chemistry and launched in the market but had to pull it out for low sales…alas, he said these students don’t want content they want kilos, I’ll explain what he meant, the price of any supplementary book was around 400-500 Rs. (I don’t know how much they cost now) and most of them weighed close to 2-3 kilos and the book authored by sir priced the same but was just 250 gms or even less with just 100 pages!!!!!! So the fraternities favored kilos over content and also institutes that claim to prepare students for JEE used his book for their study material illegally, so he decided to pull books out of market. It was through this book where introduction to author was written i got to know abt his qualificationsàsir was a grad from IIT, went to Princeton univ. worked for T.I.F.R. ,did Mass Comm. from Jamia, part of technical team of the science show Turning point,(my fav when it used to be aired,I was in 3rd -4 th standard then) and many other I’m failing to recollect.OMG…..i said then, when I read this and I am saying now when I’m typing this….so many things done successfully…and earning each of that is as hard as trying to make an elephant wear an underpant !!!!(he he he) { it might be unbelivable for many, but sir was no fake, not a con man for sure}…..the year in which he joined priceton he was only person chosen from India for that course and just 6 other all around the world!!!!!!!!OMG again and Mass Comm. from Jamia which is best in whole of ASIA so imagine the competition!!! And this person had it all…….how did I forget graduating from IIT…toughest undergrad exam in the world and then TIFR,normal people don’t (cant) do all this.
THis page has already grown too large in content(just the intro) than I inteneded to write about him........but this is allure of genius, what to do??
This person Is great,I regret I didn’t utilize his teaching well but reliving past is just so much fun!!!
Thank you sir!!!!!
For Corrections of any sort, mention in comments.thank u

Heart of India
The Heart of India
By
Mark Tully
In this mid semester break I was too lazy to go through any course book so wanted to get through some miscellaneous text, I found this book by Mark Tully on India, ’the heart of India ’, Mark Tully has worked as correspondent for BBC Radio services in India, before getting retired .He decided to continue his stay in this ‘Utopia Land’(my belief)…because this country is just brilliant.
In this book he has collections of stories that are somewhat morphed in terms of names of characters and minor changes….but most of the content was true to best of his knowledge. Most of the stories were of Eastern part of U.P. the place which Sir Tully considered to be demonstrated real picture of India and to this part of India I belong!!!!
Well reading these stories at first seems good and if not completely, they had truth in greater part and I must say Mr. Tully has more knowledge than me, of part of world, to which I belong.
But none of his stories seemed convincing enough that can compel a foreigner to continue his stay….and no way these stories portrayed ‘heart of India’ . I’m just not satisfied with the title but the stories are marvelous and one must go through this book.
This book has many stories of ‘Thakurs’.In those stories they have been shown degraded of their station which they had been enjoying since Vedic age(very true),this caused raising of my eyebrows for that moment, since I’m thakur(or kshatriya) too…even though I have always favored equality to all..but sudden rise of down trodden was hard to gulp down, while going through text!!!(and those assholes are still demanding for reservation……!!!!! For what I don’t know!!!)
It is all mixed but I wanted to convey 2 things
a)11)The title was not apt
2)Do away with this fucking reservations…….even if the ‘JACKASS PEOPLE ‘ our ’ neta’ still want to go with this…make reservation on economic status…otherwise division in society is inevitable.

GOD--formless??
GOD
This topic is the most basic yet difficult to get through. The point of difficulty is the simplicity of THE ALMIGHTY.
I have pondered over this issue again and again, and will continue to do till I find a solution of it. Before I pen down all my views about the god and all my experiences I would like to mention, what made me incline toward god like the way I was never devoted. After my schooling I dropped a year to prepare for my entrances, during this period I did less of studying my course book, preparation material and read A book, just 1. It was collection of 11 fables describing the greatness of Shrimad Bhagwat Gita,in a way.
I read that book again and again, same stories and every time I read they were as engrossing as they were when first read, each story has a moral and is based on a verse from Gita. If 11 verses can have this mesmerizing effect, my intellect limits me to truly explore the greatness of Gita.
So this lead to my inclination towards god and I was eager to explore more and more of god, but being a loon I didn’t try to explore even my passion(this has been a problem with me, serious issue and no motivational books, thoughts, ideas ………made me change my “shitty” attitude towards my passion). But somehow things happen and I found a channel which, if didn’t help me to know more of god, certainly increased my doubts about the almighty. It was an Islamic channel, my previous blog had mention of it.
The most basic doubt I have is “Is God one and formless”??
If yes, then why in Hinduism there exist as many as 16 Crore (or even more), even when the Vedas and the Upnishads say that there is only 1 god, yet Hindus have many. Whereas Islam suggests the ideology of 1 god and they practice the same(they consider worshipping many god as shirk or a sin), the word ”ALLAH” means one and only one with none next to him/her(or what to say, please suggest). After reading to a book by a Hindu scholar, about Hinduism suggests that the various forms of god that we Hindus worship is actually to depict the fact that we are form him and since with limited thought and idea and mental power we have, we assume him to be of form that we can understand, recognize and praise and this diversity of god in Hinduism, though saying 1 god theory has made Hinduism, according to Christian Bernard Shaw, the most tolerant religion in world. This scholar also suggest that buffalos if has to think of their god, they will assume him to be a very big buffalo, much larger than their size, yet a buffalo, in support of Hindus depicting the god in human form. MY DOUBTS ARE YET NOT ANSWERED, yet these theories seemed perfect in every sense.
Please if you are reading this post, help me out with this.
1) i) I feel god is one
2) ii)God I assume to be formless and featureless, similar to energy, no mass no form.
3) iii) Yet I feel god must have a form for human to help understand god.
If you any book that has teaching of Gautam Budhha please post me the link, because he’s the enlightened soul and can help me in my search.
Early morning bazaar
delhi,5:00 am---Rain yesterday brought chill to this season and I was feeling a bit extra (rather, more than just extra). The place I'm talking about is the nearby marketplace, where I went to get hold of an autorickshaw.
Chill that I was feeling was enough to shake me till my backbone...it was so cool,,,chill was chilli.
The scene in the market is what was so mesmerising and compelling me to write something about it.
I had the privelege of getting up early in the morning, thanks to dad for it,the practice I abandoned since I passed out my High School examination...so the feeling of getting early was long gone and I must say,its absolute great to be awake early morning provided you went to bed 5-6 hrs prior to it.
Hmmmm,so the market place, the actual topic,it was similar to what to be expected at 5:00 am...a police Gypsy, next to the police post, with all its light on(they were functional!!!! :) )ready to charge as and when commanded, some hawkers half awake and perplexed over whether its morning or night still, few vehciles moving as if some qualifiers of F1 is going around,huh..and few shops open, they were never closed, intention to gain 24x7 could be the reason. the high mast light making the place look cool that it never looked with people crowding it and vehciles overcrowding it,the honking and those trins trins....phew...Morning bazaar is much more cooler, provided shops are open.
As I looked up,I found moon was now growing in size day by day to become a full mooon...and remark the end of Ramadan and beginning of feasting...the gibbous moon was shining as brighly as star and I doubted this fact that it has no light of its own!!!
surprising,no??
well I,early waker, was in happy state to jot the points as soon as I got the chance, its 5:30 in the morning.......and i must say early wakers are gainer (I neva cared for it, :( )
